Responsibilities Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Group Therapist for our Monroe location. This position is an integral part of the clinical care team in our inpatient program at our Monroe location.

Position Summary Schedule Sun‑Thur or Tue‑Sat.

The Substance Use Disorder Professional completes Substance Use evaluations (American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM assessment), conducts recovery‑oriented group therapy, supervises SUDPTs, and provides training to case managers on the proper administration of an ASAM evaluation. Utilizes evidence based practice in assisting patients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health with a focus on chemical dependency issues.

Qualifications Education

Masters degree from an accredited college or university in human services, social work, counseling, or related field.

Licensure

Must have a valid WA State license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT) or associate clinical licensure.

Must possess a Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee (SUDP) or (SUDPT) certificate or obtain upon hire.

Must obtain CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De‑Escalation certifications provided by facility upon hire.

Experience

Preferred two (2) years, post‑Master’s experience in a psychiatric health care setting.

Direct experience in individual and family group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.

Direct experience managing a caseload of up to 14 clients.

Skills and experience in community relations and group presentation.

Skills and experience in group facilitation, group adaptation, and curriculum development.
