Family Medicine Physician

Family Medicine physician employment in South Carolina : Medical Center seeking Primary Care Physician to join team- Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed.- Outpatient clinical role ' no inpatient- Standard office hours (Mon-Thurs: 8am-5pm / Fri: 8am-12pm)- Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week)- 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours- Call Schedule: Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1:7 to 1:8 rotation- EMR: Cerner- Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant- Average Patient Volume: 18-22 patients per day- Patient Census: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases- Demographics: A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc.- Visit Types: Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc.- Typical Procedures: In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and women's health screenings.- Sign-on Bonus: $35k+ sign-on bonus to assist with the transition.- Competitive Compensation: Guaranteed base salary (typically MGMA median) + WRVU bonuses (250-270k +/-).- Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, & vision; supplemental insurance options (short/long-term disability, accidental, cancer, life); retirement plans with employer match.- Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for loan repayment assistance through the PSLF program, helping to manage and reduce student debt.- CME Allowances: 5 days off a year / $3k a year- Malpractice Insurance/Tail Coverage: Coverage provided by Facility.- Work-Life Balance: Flexible scheduling and ample paid time off to ensure a healthy work-life balance (24 Days PTO).
