About the role We're looking for aJunior Accountant to handle core financial tasks such as preparing journal entries, managing accounts payable and receivables, and ensuring accurate transaction recording. Ideal candidates have a solid understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in Xero and strong attention to detail. The role will be reporting to the Head of Finance.
Job responsibilities
Prepare journal and data entries
Record transactions and posting these to various accounts
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Review invoices generated
Manage corporate credit cards
Perform account reconciliations
Maintain deferred revenue schedules in compliance with revenue recognition policies
Maintain accounting systems and automated workflows
Handle ad‑hoc accounting or administrative tasks
Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and other related fields
Less than 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, and other related fields.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and financial analysis
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools. Experience in Xero is required
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of tax regulations and familiarity with tax compliance processes
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willing to work on Mon to Fri, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST
Willing to work remotely, full‑time
