CRN is an organization grown out of necessity to support those in need. In 2009, we began serving the needs of people with developmental disabilities. Based on feedback and need from the community, we expanded our services in 2017 to include people without developmental disabilities who need compassionate, individualized care. We started with 60 direct support providers, and we now operate with more than 275 direct support providers to serve approximately 500 people throughout Florida.
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable caregiver to support a 51‑year‑old man in need of a caregiver who is compassionate to assist him with daily living activities. The ideal candidate is someone who is kind‑hearted and patient, who can take him out into the community to go shopping, movies, out to eat or bowling. He loves to collect different things, he also enjoys stitching, his iPad and puzzles.
This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hour.
Schedule:
Flexible, 2-3 days a week for 5‑6 hours a day.

Responsibilities and Duties: Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities Assisting with personal hygiene tasks Meal preparation and light cleaning Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment Facilitating community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization Completing daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills: Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening Provide 1 year of caregiving experience Have a High School diploma or equivalent Have a valid Driver license Are 18 years of age or older
