If you are unsure whether you have been awarded Work-Study, please contact the Financial Aid office at finaid@union.edu.The purpose of the position is to assist the GSWS Director and support GSWS program activities on campus.**Department**GWSW Program**Location**Reamer Campus Center, Room 301**Supervisor's Name**Erika Nelson Mukherjee**Please indicate hours/shifts available**Days (Business Hours), Possible Nights and Weekends**Rate of Pay**$9.70/hr**Duties and Responsibilities (split between Work-Study Students)*** Assist the GSWS Director and support the GSWS program with various tasks* Maintain social media sites--post GSWS events to twitter, instagram, and Facebook accounts* Help the GSWS Director maintain the GSWS suite* Meet with GSWS-related Student Groups, Students, Faculty, and Staff* Set up RCC 301 for GSWS-related meetings, teach-ins, and events* Train as a GSWS mentor and spend hours in the GSWS office for 'open hours'* Pick up and distribute Posters listing the GSWS courses offered each term* Maintain the bulletin board outside of the GSWS suite* Assist the Director with the Alumnae Tea and Triota Honors Society Ceremony**Qualifications for the Position*** Preference is given to GSWS majors and minors* Interest in GSWS issues and concerns* Knowledge of how to post social media sites* Solid work skills and people skills**Location:** Schenectady, NY**E-Verify Participation:** Union College participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
