is currently seeking an experienced Industrial
CCCO Crane Operator/HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
to operate with the following, Scott 8.5T, 15T, and 30T crane, Biggie 80T, 120T and 130T crane in Cameron LA at the Cheniere Site. No per diem offered. Must have TWIC & current driver license.
Position Summary Provides maintenance services for various lifts needed throughout using different crane sizes with regards to maintenance in the industrial plant.
Position Responsibilities
Observes load hook-up and determines safety of load.
Manipulates crane control to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
Cleans and maintains crane and hoisting mechanism.
Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies the supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience
Experience in a crane maintenance environment
Good reading comprehension
Team player, good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors
Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations
Recommended crane operating experience (seat time)
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals to determine work procedures
Experience using industrial hand tools and power tools
Minimum 3‑5 years industrial maintenance experience
Reliable transportation and flexibility for work as needed
Certifications and/or Licenses Required
NCCCO – Telescopic Boom Cranes—Fixed Cab (TSS)
NCCCO – Telescopic Boom Cranes—Swing Cab (TLL)
NCCCO – Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes (LBC)
Valid TWIC
Valid Driver’s License to pass Zachry MVR
Job Requirements
Must have experience operating crane with Jib.
Must be able to work at elevated heights up to 180" on top of tanks.
Must pass a criminal background check, DISA drug screen, and physical.
Must have reliable transportation.
Former Zachry employee (preferred).
Formal education/degree/certificate in construction, technical or trade school (preferred).
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Requires large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs.
May work at heights, climb ladders, stairways, and work off platforms.
Requires vision abilities for short/long distances, colors, depth perception.
Must wear PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, respirators, vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
Work in all weather conditions, moderate to high noise levels, and around heavy equipment.
Background Check Yes. DOT drug screen and DOT physical required.
