Aramark is hiring a
Carpenter
to support
facilities maintenance operations at Oriana House in Akron, Ohio . While the job title is Carpenter, this role requires a multi-skilled maintenance professional who can handle a wide range of interior repair and upkeep tasks. Carpentry is the primary focus, supported by general building maintenance responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities
Perform carpentry and interior construction repairs, including:
Patching and repairing drywall
Painting and finishing interior surfaces
Repairing walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and millwork
Complete general maintenance tasks such as:
Cleaning and clearing drains
Repairing fixtures, hardware, windows, and doors
Minor appliance and office equipment repairs
Inspect assigned areas routinely and address maintenance needs proactively
Perform routine building maintenance to keep facilities safe, functional, and serviceable
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance checklists
Respond promptly to work requests and complete repairs efficiently
Report major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions
Use tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate documentation and work order records
Maintain a professional, customer-focused attitude with staff, clients, and coworkers
Follow all Aramark safety policies, procedures, and codes

Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Carpenter / Painter required
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in:
Carpentry and drywall repair
Painting and finishing
Millwork and interior construction
General maintenance experience with building systems such as:
Pumps, motors, fans
Air handling units and basic mechanical equipment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance tasks
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Ability to follow safety procedures due to physical job demands
