Senior Director of Club Experience Reports To:
Vice President of Club Operations

Position Summary The Senior Director of Club Experience is a direct supervisor and strategic support, and coaching resource for Club Directors. This role partners closely with Club leadership to help design, implement, and sustain effective strategies, systems, and processes that drive high-quality Club experiences, strong youth outcomes, and grant compliance.
Rather than managing day‑to‑day Club activities, the Senior Director focuses on strengthening Club Director capacity through coaching, problem‑solving, data analysis, and process improvement. The role ensures Clubs are equipped with the tools, training, and guidance needed to meet organizational goals, maintain safe environments, and deliver consistent, high‑quality programming aligned with the organization’s mission.
Core Purpose of the Role
Supervise and support Club Directors in achieving Club goals through strong strategies and systems
Coach and develop Club Directors as effective leaders
Strengthen grant compliance, data integrity, and program quality
Improve the overall Club experience for members, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities Club Director Supervision, Support & Coaching
Serve as a partner and coach to Club Directors, providing guidance on leadership, operations, and problem‑solving.
Support Club Directors in developing, implementing, and maintaining site‑specific strategies and operational plans aligned with organizational goals.
Conduct regular check‑ins focused on progress toward goals, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide constructive feedback and targeted coaching to strengthen leadership effectiveness and team performance.
Support Club Directors in navigating change, addressing barriers, and sustaining successful practices.
Complete yearly evaluations for Club Directors
Strategic Planning & Process Development
Partner with Club Directors to develop and refine operational processes that support consistent, high‑quality Club experiences.
Assist in creating systems for scheduling, staffing, program delivery, and supervision that align with grant requirements and youth outcomes.
Guide Club Directors in developing data‑informed strategies to increase attendance, engagement, and program impact.
Support the implementation of standardized tools, templates, and best practices across Club locations while allowing for site‑specific needs.
Program Quality & Club Experience
Support Club Directors in delivering programs with commitment and relevance to member and community needs.
Help analyze participation data, outcomes, and feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Work collaboratively with the club leadership teams to ensure Clubs have appropriate training, resources678 and support.
Promote practices that create welcoming, safe, and engaging physical and emotional environments for members.
Grant Compliance & Data Support
Provide guidance to Club Directors on operational requirements tied to grants, including schedules, staffing, documentation, and reporting.
Support the development of processes that ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data collection.
Assist Clubs in tracking outcomes and aligning programming to grant goals and objectives.
Proactively identify potential compliance risks and support corrective action planning.
Training & Professional Development
Support the development and implementation of training plans that build Club Director and staff capacity.
Ensure Club Directors understand training expectations and have systems in place to track completion.
Provide or coordinate targeted training related to operations, safety, data use, and program quality.
Reinforce a Culture of Safety through coaching, modeling, and continuous learning.
Safety, Risk & Operational Support
Support Club Directors in maintaining safe environments and implementing risk management practices.
Assist with planning, documentation, and follow‑up related to safety drills, inspections, and incident review.
Help Club Directors develop systems that ensure staff ratios, supervision, and safety protocols are consistently met.
Use incident and safety data to identify training needs and process improvements.
Budget & Resource chamados Support Club Directors in understanding and managing their budgets to align resources with Club priorities.
Assist in monitoring budget trends and developing corrective strategies when variances occur.
Provide guidance on aligning staffing and programming decisions with financial goals.
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as a liaison between Club Directors and organizational leadership to support clarity, alignment, and shared problem‑solving.
Encourage collaboration and best‑practice sharing among Club Directors.
Support Club Directors in building community partnerships and engaging families and stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities \檗 Contribute to operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Education, or related field or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit operations, youth development, education, or related field.
Proven success in staff supervision, program evaluation, and financial management.
