Trillium Construction is seeking skilled Shop Welder / Fabricator for a project in Paris, TN.
This position involves reading and interpreting shop drawings, cutting and fitting materials, welding various metals, and fabricating components to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, solid fabrication knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication prints
Measure, layout, cut, and fit materials accurately using various measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares, levels, etc.)
Perform welding operations using appropriate processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, as required)
Fabricate parts and assemblies from raw materials according to specifications
Work with a variety of metals and material shapes, including:
Square and rectangular tubing
Plate and floor plate (diamond plate)
Round tube and pipe
Bar stock
Channel, beam, and other structural shapes
Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, drills, presses, and other shop tools
Ensure welds and fabricated parts meet quality and safety standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a shop environment
Strong ability to read and understand fabrication prints
Solid knowledge of welding techniques and joint preparation
Proficient in measuring and layout using multiple tools
Working knowledge of different metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.)
Familiarity with common structural and fabrication materials and shapes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
Welding certifications (MIG, TIG, Stick)
Structural or custom fabrication experience
Experience working in a fast-paced shop environment
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Aerial lift, forklift, or telehandler certifications
Work Environment
Shop-based fabrication environment
Exposure to welding fumes, noise, and heavy equipment
Proper PPE required to be worn at all times
