We are seeking a

Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician

to join our growing academic team. This role offers the opportunity to teach, mentor, and shape the next generation of family medicine physicians while practicing in a collaborative, community-focused environment. The Faculty Physician plays a key role in resident education, clinical supervision, curriculum development, and patient care excellence.

Key Responsibilities Resident & Student Education Supervise clinical training of Family Medicine residents in the hospital’s residency program.

Conduct teaching rounds and case-based discussions.

Participate in the Morning Report, guiding residents in case presentation and clinical reasoning.

Evaluate resident learning progress, identify developmental needs, and maximize learning opportunities.

Complete end-of-rotation performance evaluations for residents and medical students.

Serve as an assigned Resident Advisor and mentor.

Clinical Supervision Provide supervision of residents in the continuity clinic.

Serve as admitting physician for the Family Medicine Teaching Service according to the Program Director's call schedules.

Supervise maternity care for the continuity of obstetric patients.

Provide supervision and teaching for medical students rotating through the program.

Serve as Curriculum Director when assigned by the Program Director.

Chair and/or participate in required residency committees.

Attend scheduled departmental and hospital meetings.

Support accreditation activities and continuous program improvement.

Perform other duties relevant to teaching and supervision in the residency program.

Clinical Excellence & Professional Development Maintain high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Participate in ongoing professional development and Continuing Medical Education.

Contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).

Current DEA registration.

Board Certification in Family Medicine (ABFM or AOA).

Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in Family Medicine.

Commitment to obtaining at least fifty (50) hours of CME annually.

Demonstrated passion for medical education, mentorship, and community-based care.
