Pay Range $87,500.00 - $125,000.00 per year (New Jersey)
Job Overview Assists the Logistics Manager with ensuring quality, coordinated patient transfers for all applicable patients in accordance with hospital policies and program plans. Supports development of patient‑care standards, orientation, and continuing education. Contributes to evaluation of Bed Management staff performance and participates in Quality Improvement programs. Helps with unit administration, including scheduling and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Maintains and models clinical skills necessary to prioritize patient transfer and placement, ensuring safe, appropriate level of care. Uses an understanding of growth and development principles to assess each patient's age‑specific needs and provide age‑specific treatment and care in collaboration with the care team.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Minimum of 3-5 years acute nursing experience with at least one year in a nursing department
Successful completion of all orientation programs
Preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Certifications and Licenses Required
Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Certifications as required by law, stature, and/or regulation for area or specialization
Scheduling Requirements
Part‑time
Night shift
25 hours per week
Essential Functions Coordinates bed management functions. Promotes physician and patient satisfaction. Ensures accuracy of automated bed board and pre‑admission lists.
