Job Summary The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, leadership, and critical thinking skills to ensure safe and effective care delivery. The RN will coordinate and delegate care while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education. This is an urgent fill opportunity in a fast-paced LTAC environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care using the Nursing Process in compliance with hospital and state guidelines
Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership in planning and delivering patient care
Delegate patient care tasks appropriately based on staff competency and experience
Supervise and support assigned personnel delivering patient careMaintain clinical competencies through continuing education and training
Requirements
Active Colorado RN license
Minimum of 2–5 years of RN experience
ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies
Knowledge of central lines
Ability to maintain a patient ratio of 1:6
Preferred Qualifications
Prior LTAC experience
Wound care experience
