The Facilities Supervisor oversees maintenance, safety, and functionality of our buildings, equipment, and grounds. This critical role ensures that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently every day Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities for facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, etc.). Schedule, coordinate, and oversee internal staff and external contractors to complete repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance. Monitor building systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and swift resolution of issues. Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, and inventory. Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Manage facilities budget, track expenditures, and recommend cost-effective solutions. Respond to facilities-related emergencies and incidents as needed. Collaborate with production, EHS, and other departments to support operational goals and projects. Train, mentor, and oversee facilities staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 3+ years’ experience in facilities maintenance/management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team. Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Proficiency in MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) a plus. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
