Now Hiring: Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor – BAART Programs (Kansas) Are you a compassionate, licensed professional who thrives on helping others transform their lives? At BAART Programs, part of the BayMark Health Services network, we’re seeking a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our mission-driven team and support individuals on their journey to recovery. This is more than a job, it’s a chance to make a meaningful difference every day in a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment. What You’ll Do: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine treatment eligibility Develop and review individualized treatment plans with patients Provide one-on-one and group counseling services to support recovery Complete bio-psychosocial assessments and maintain clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other providers to ensure holistic care Engage families and support networks in the recovery process Assist with aftercare planning and coordinate discharge needs Respond to patient needs, concerns, and crisis situations with empathy and professionalism What You Bring: Active LCAC, LMAC, or LAC licensure (required) Previous experience in addiction or behavioral health preferred Ability to build trust with a diverse patient population Comfort working with EMR systems Commitment to providing non-judgmental, person-centered care Successful completion of a drug screen and background check About Us:
