Ultrasound Technologist Position
McFarland Clinic is currently seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for its Marshalltown office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and capable of providing extraordinary care to patients. Responsibilities include providing quality ultrasound images to a Radiologist, being involved in direct patient care, and helping with assigned duties of the department such as visual equipment checklist, room supply checklist, and filling out worksheets with information prior to ultrasound study. The candidate should also confer with Radiologist or PCP when needed to clarify exam ordered and work with Epic and Merge computer programs to begin a patient study and send images to the Radiologists. The ability to read and effectively communicate in the English language is required. Education + Completion of an accredited course in diagnostic medical sonography. Certification/License + ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN required + RVT (Registered vascular sonographer) also preferred. + American Reg Diag Sonography -OR- American Reg Rad Technology in Sonography + Current BCLS certification Days: As needed- cover vacations and sick leave hours Available: 7:00AM - 4:30 PM (Monday - Friday) as needed Experience + 1-2 years experience Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
