We are a growing IT Managed Services Provider serving small and mid‑sized businesses. We are hiring a part‑time business development and marketing coordinator to help generate qualified sales conversations and support growth of our managed services offerings. This role is not a closing role. Final proposals and contract closing are handled by senior technical leadership. This position focuses on prospecting, appointment setting, follow‑up, and pipeline development. This is an excellent role for someone who is organized, persistent, and comfortable initiating conversations—but not suited for someone looking for a high‑pressure, commission‑only sales job. Role Key Responsibilities
Identify and research local businesses (20–200 employees) Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn Schedule introductory meetings for senior leadership Track outreach and follow‑ups in CRM Coordinate discovery calls and site walk‑throughs Assist with proposal preparation and follow‑up Maintain pipeline visibility and accuracy Support MSP contract renewals and up‑sell conversations Marketing & Networking
Assist with local networking events and follow‑ups Maintain basic sales collateral and messaging consistency What This Role Is NOT
Not cold‑call‑only telemarketing Not a commission‑only sales role Not an independent closer Not a “hunter” role requiring a personal book of business Required Skills & Traits (Non‑Negotiable)
Comfortable initiating conversations with business owners and managers Strong written and verbal communication Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented Able to handle rejection professionally Willing to follow a structured outreach and tracking process Coachable and open to feedback Compensation
$15/hour base pay New MSP contracts Renewals ~20 hours per week Flexible schedule within agreed availability Seniority Level
