
GTM & Operations Associate

We are a new hardware security division in a public company, building advanced security technologies across semiconductors, cryptography, and quantum systems.
We are looking for a GTM & Operations Associate to work directly with the Head of Product in San Francisco and help build the company’s business function from the ground up.
This is a broad, high-ownership role for someone who is comfortable operating across sales, marketing, operations, and strategy. You will help create structure where none exists, support outbound efforts, and ensure the company runs effectively as we begin engaging customers globally.
Responsibilities Support outbound sales efforts, including identifying leads, researching target accounts, and helping manage a developing sales pipeline. Conduct market and industry research across semiconductor, security, and adjacent sectors to identify opportunities and inform strategy. Create and refine business and marketing materials, including presentations, briefs, social media content, and external communications. Help establish and maintain internal sales and operational systems, including CRM tools, tracking pipelines, and reporting. Assist in planning and executing events, conferences, and customer meetings. Provide general operational support, including coordinating across offices, handling administrative needs, and ensuring day-to-day business functions run smoothly. Act as a business-oriented voice within a highly technical team, helping translate between engineering work and external positioning. Take on new responsibilities as needed in an early-stage environment, adapting to evolving company needs.
Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in business operations, sales, consulting, or a related role. Strong analytical ability and comfort working across technical and business domains. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams. Positive, high-energy attitude and willingness to take ownership of ambiguous tasks. Interest in semiconductors, security, or deep technology is preferred but not required. Strong writing ability, with experience producing presentations, briefs, or external-facing content.
Bonus Qualifications Prior experience in the semiconductor, hardware, or security industry, with an understanding of how technical products are developed and sold. Exposure to security, cryptography, or hardware systems, either through prior roles or academic experience. Experience owning or contributing to sales or marketing initiatives, such as: Running outbound campaigns, managing a sales pipeline, supporting account strategy or customer relationships Experience operating independently in ambiguous environments, such as startups, consulting roles, or early-stage teams.
