Overview A well-established, mid-sized organization is seeking a Payroll Specialist. The team is looking to bring someone in quickly who can step in and support ongoing payroll operations with minimal ramp-up.

Responsibilities Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll (hourly + salaried employees) Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll tax regulations Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and adjustments Support quarterly and year-end processing (W-2s, filings) Handle off-cycle payrolls, retro pay, and corrections Partner with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries
Qualifications 3–7 years of hands-on payroll experience Experience with multi-state payroll and tax compliance ADP required BambooHR preferred (will consider similar HRIS experience) Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
Additional Details ~300+ employee population across multiple states Mix of biweekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll cycles Onsite role with potential flexibility after training Quick interview process, team is ready to move
