Professional development and training programs. Job Details Job Details: We are in need of an experienced Estimator to come on board with our firm. This position will be a key player in our construction process, providing accurate cost and labor estimates for our ground up and tenant improvement (TI) projects. If you are an experienced estimator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including ground up and TI projects. Reviewing and understanding architectural drawings, technical specifications, and other project documentation to prepare estimates. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather all necessary data for estimates. Identifying and quantifying potential cost uncertainties to ensure that the final estimate is accurate. Presenting estimates to senior management and clients, explaining the basis for the estimate and any potential risks. Participating in bid reviews and presentations to ensure that the company's bids are competitive and profitable. Tracking and analyzing project costs, and adjusting estimates as necessary to reflect changes in project scope or market conditions. Staying updated on industry trends and advancements in construction technology to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the estimating process. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on ground up and TI projects. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment. Proficiency in estimating software and other construction-related software. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to a variety of audiences. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while meeting tight deadlines.
