Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Permanent Project Manager/Supervisor to join our team. This position is integral to our success in the residential and commercial construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of construction projects from inception to completion. This includes ground up construction, remodels, and self-perform tasks. The individual will be required to demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools, leading teams, and using construction management software like Procore, Build Connect, and Buildertrend. This is an amazing opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in the construction industry to join a progressive, fast-paced, and growing company. This is a Get your Hands Dirty at times role. Responsibilities: 1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management from planning to implementation. 2. Allocate resources for assigned projects. 3. Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors. 4. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients. 5. Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs. 6. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. 7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. 8. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. 9. Analyze, manage and mitigate risks. 10. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. 11. Use software for construction management to track project progress and manage tasks. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field. 2. Proven working experience in construction management, with a focus on residential and commercial projects. 3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods. 4. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, relevant rules, regulations and quality standards. 5. Understanding of all facets of the construction process. 6. Familiarity with construction management software packages (Procore, Build Connect, Buildertrend). 7. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”. 8. Competent in conflict and crisis management. 9. Excellent time and project management skills. 10. Team leadership abilities. 11. Excellent knowledge and experience in using hand tools. 12. BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field; PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
