At Pair of Thieves, we build products that are Ready for Everything. We move fast, think commercially, and expect our teams to own outcomes, not just tasks. We are looking for an Amazon Channel Owner to lead and grow one of the most important and fastest-moving parts of the business.
This role owns the Amazon business end to end: strategy, sales performance, operational execution, assortment, content, advertising coordination, and profitability. This is not a passive account management role. We are looking for someone who understands how Amazon actually works and can drive growth while balancing brand, margin, inventory, and operational realities.
The right person is analytical, commercially sharp, highly organized, and comfortable operating cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Operations, Marketing, Creative, and Product teams.
What You’ll Own
Own the overall Amazon business across Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
Drive topline revenue growth while protecting margin, inventory health, and operational execution
Build and manage Amazon channel strategy across assortment, pricing, promotions, launches, and seasonal moments
Analyze weekly business performance including sales, traffic, conversion, TACOS/ACOS, contribution margin, inventory coverage, and forecasting accuracy
Partner with Planning and Operations teams to ensure inventory flow supports demand without excessive aging or stockouts
Own Amazon forecasting inputs and communicate risks, opportunities, and changes clearly across the organization
Manage item setup, catalog health, listing optimization, variation structures, keyword performance, and PDP quality
Partner with Creative and Marketing teams on A+ content, storefronts, campaign assets, and brand storytelling
Coordinate with external agencies and platform partners as needed for advertising and DSP execution
Monitor competitive activity, pricing changes, reviews, category trends, and market opportunities
Lead promotional planning including Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, holiday, and key retail moments
Identify operational inefficiencies and build scalable processes around reporting, launches, inventory, and account management
Partner with Finance on profitability analysis, accruals, chargebacks, deductions, and forecasting alignment
Ensure the channel operates cleanly from both a customer experience and operational compliance perspective
What We’re Looking For
5+ years managing Amazon business channels, preferably in apparel, basics, accessories, or consumer products
Strong working knowledge of Seller Central, Vendor Central, Amazon advertising ecosystem, and catalog management
Deep understanding of Amazon retail math, contribution margin, and inventory management
Experience managing forecasting and inventory planning within Amazon’s demand environment
Highly analytical and comfortable working with large data sets, POS reporting, and performance dashboards
Strong understanding of PDP optimization, search ranking, conversion drivers, and promotional strategy
Ability to operate cross-functionally and push projects forward without excessive oversight
Comfortable in a fast-moving, lean organization where ownership matters
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear business decisions
Experience with Power BI, Excel, Shopify, Centric PLM, or ERP systems is a plus
You’d Probably Thrive Here If
You like solving messy operational problems
You understand that “growth” without margin discipline is fake
You can zoom out strategically but also care about whether a title, image, or bullet point is wrong on a PDP
You are comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and adjusting quickly
You want ownership, accountability, and the ability to materially impact a business
While we support flexibility where it makes sense, Pair of Thieves is fundamentally an LA-first company. We believe the best work happens through strong cross-functional collaboration, fast decision making, and teams spending meaningful time together in person. Candidates located within the greater Los Angeles metro area will be given preference for this role.
