Weaving Development Technician Morganton, NC We are seeking a skilled
Weaving Development Technician
to support and enhance weaving operations, ensuring precision in loom setup, pattern entry, troubleshooting, and overall functionality for Jacquard and Dobby flat-woven fabrics. This role is essential in maintaining sample yarn inventory and assisting with warping processes to drive efficiency and quality in textile production. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum
5 years of weaving experience
in Air Jet, Dobby, and Jacquard weaving. Proven expertise in
weave machine setup, troubleshooting, and warp tie-in . Sectional warping experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) , with demonstrated ability to conduct analyses and generate reports. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Exceptional
organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills . Sound mathematical proficiency with a keen ability to make informed decisions at various levels. Key Responsibilities: Manage
loom setup, pattern entry, and operational adjustments
to ensure smooth production. Oversee
warp beam shipments , maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. Retrieve, load, tie-in warps, and
monitor sample warp inventory
levels. Direct weighing, repacking, and storage of filling yarns. Perform
quality inspections
on sample runs, recording efficiencies and corrective actions. Troubleshoot and resolve
weaving machine mechanical and material issues . Maintain comprehensive
fabric formation records
and ensure sample weaveability. Coordinate the transport and preparation of greige samples for design review. Support ongoing
7S workplace organization
within the Product Development Department. Manage and update
sample loom files
