JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Electrophysiologist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Flagstaff, AZ Service Setting: Inpatient/outpatient (In-office clinic) Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: December 29, 2025 Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: MonFri, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM COVERAGE DATES December 29, 2025 January 2, 2026 Plus 12 weeks per month in 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census:20-22 patients per day Consults: 34 per day EP Cases: 46 per day, depending on case length Admissions: Yes Case Mix: Cardiac electrophysiology; heart rhythm disturbances,left-sided ablations FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 268 EMR System: Cerner Reason for Coverage: Supplemental PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 30 Days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Left-sided ablations Cardiac electrophysiology diagnostics and procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Arizona license or IMLC; willing to license Board: BC/BE in Electrophysiology DEA: Active DEA with AZ address Certifications: ACLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year in Electrophysiology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient cardiac electrophysiology care Perform and interpret specialized EP procedures Consult on 34 hospital cases per day and conduct 46 EP procedures daily Collaborate with Cath Lab team and other cardiac specialists Document encounters using Cerner EMR system Requirements JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Arizona license or IMLC; willing to license Board: BC/BE in Electrophysiology DEA: Active DEA with AZ address Certifications: ACLS required Experience: Minimum 1 year in Electrophysiology
