Clean & Comfortable SettingPosition SummaryThis role is responsible for ensuring high-quality product output by adhering to safety protocols, interpreting blueprints, and operating machinery effectively. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of sheet metal variations, the ability to use precision measurement tools, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.Follow company safety policies, including PPE use and incident reporting.Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production and match print to router and pink ticket.Meet production deadlines and maintain product quality standards.Locate and prepare materials for manufacturing tasks.Ability to load tooling on the C-Bend Machine. Able to load correct program to the machine to run job. Able to follow dispatch and schedule. Able to run simple bends. Use and read calipers in both metric and standard measurements.Identify and differentiate various types of sheet metal.Perform basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.Maintain a clean and organized workstation.Train new employees as needed.Lift up to 50 lbs individually and participate in team lifts up to 75 lbs.Follow routers and production documentation accurately.Report any equipment malfunctions or product discrepancies to supervisors.All other duties as applied.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1-3 years of experience as a Silk Screen Operator in medical device or regulated manufacturing.Basic knowledge of sheet metal materials.Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.Proficiency in using calipers and measurement tools.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Viant is a global medical device design and manufacturing services provider that partners and innovates with customers to provide the highest quality, life enhancing medical devices.
