Job Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects specializing in doors, frames, and hardware (DFH) . This role is responsible for managing all aspects of DFH scope-from estimating and procurement to scheduling, coordination, and final installation-while ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage multiple DFH projects simultaneously from pre-construction through closeout.
•Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and door schedules to confirm accuracy and scope.
•Coordinate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and installers to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
•Prepare submittals, shop drawings, and material orders based on project requirements.
•Monitor and manage budgets, material costs, labor, and schedules.
•Conduct site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality assurance.
•Track and document project changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
•Ensure all work complies with applicable building codes, ADA requirements, fire/life safety regulations, and industry standards.
•Provide technical support and value engineering solutions to optimize project performance.
Qualifications:
•3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with specific focus on DFH.
•Strong understanding of door and hardware codes, UL listings, fire ratings, and industry compliance.
•Proficient in reading construction drawings and door schedules.
•Familiarity with Division 8 specifications and related product lines.
•Experience with project management and estimating software (e.g., Com sense, Blue-beam, Procore, Microsoft Project).
•Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
