It's an exciting place to build a career, where you can thrive!Sales ManagerSalary Range $60K - $65K annuallyPosition SummaryOur Sales Manager is responsible for securing hotel room bookings and function space sales. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of sales and client relations. By anticipating client needs and leveraging in-depth product knowledge, the Sales Manager serves as a vital extension of the Sales Team.Essential FunctionsQualify leads and prospects.Develop potential accounts as well as update and maintain all forms of account files.Establish and maintain close contact with top accounts and target accounts through phone calls, tours, appointments, and correspondence.Maintain accurate sales files and trace system of top and target accounts.Work effectively with rooms, catering, conference/convention services and banquet departments.Knowledge of all hotel facilities and nearby attractions.Meet and exceed revenue and proactive sales goals.Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.Maintain all files with current trace dates, accurate histories and all relevant information regarding booking activity.Participate in weekly marketing and sales meetings.Assist in implementing special promotions relating to specific market segments.Attend tradeshows and local networking events.Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.Education and ExperienceExperience in sales.Previous hotel experience.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communication skills.Organized and attentive to detail.Knowledgeable in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and WordNegotiation SkillsBenefits and PerksDonohoe Hospitality Services is pleased to offer employees a comprehensive Benefits Package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, leaves of absence, retirement plans, paid time off, hotel room discounts. and MORE!
