This company offers the opportunity to take a leadership role within the Preconstruction team while contributing directly to the continued growth of a respected Houston-based builder.Job DescriptionThe Preconstruction Manager will:Solicit and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clientsPrepare and submit proposals within deadlines, and follow up until the deal is closedFacilitate effective project hand-offs to project managers, engineers, and architectsMonitor budgets throughout the construction lifecycleEvaluate and prepare pricing for change ordersUpdate and maintain accurate pipeline reports, tracking leads, bookings, forecasting, and reportingBuild out and manage a small team of estimating professionalsBe flexible enough to handle some project management dutiesLead from the front and inspire team performanceUtilize modern technology to ensure effective cost and project deliveryMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
