Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT (M) certification for a fast-paced outpatient role operating Hologic Dimension equipment. Responsibilities Work in a mobile mammography unit and outpatient clinic settings performing high-volume screening and diagnostic mammogramsCaseload ranges from 30 to 50 mammograms per day, with a minimum expectation of at least 20 per dayMonday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work as requiredTechnologists may be assigned to ride in a mobile van or report to physical breast clinic locations as neededFloating to sister facilities within scope may be requiredEpic EMR is used for chartingResponsible for adhering to American College of Radiology and MQSA regulatory and inspection standardsMaintain accurate quality control records and complete equipment maintenance per inspection requirementsRole requires effective communication with leadership, team members, patients, and departments to improve health literacy and reduce barriers to careFirst-time travelers are acceptedAll requested time off must be declared at the time of application and is subject to facility approvalA 60 mile radius rule applies; local candidates are considered at local ratesPrevious employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a travelerScrub tops in any shade of pink or dark teal and black bottoms are requiredUnit orientation is provided at the work or clinic siteDuring hurricane season (June–November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Requirements Minimum 1 year of mammography technologist experience requiredCurrent ARRT (M) certification, SCRQSA (M), SC state license, and BLS are requiredLicense required if applicableMust be proficient in operating Hologic Dimension mammography equipmentMust be skilled in both screening and diagnostic mammogramsExperience working independently and in a fast-paced team environment is essential Benefits High Pay and BonusesMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 OptionsGenerous Housing AllowanceNon-taxed Per Diem and SubsidyWeekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs401(k) PlanTraveler Rewards and DiscountsTravel and Licensure Reimbursements
