role is a structured fellowship programme designed to equip

persons living with disabilities

with hands-on experience, mentorship, and strategic engagement in public service, development policy, municipal governance, and infrastructure transformation. You will play a critical role in driving strategic programmes, building institutional capacity, and fostering sustainable partnerships across more than

40 strategic focus areas . Key Focus Areas

Depending on your interest and background, you may be assigned to support projects in: Human Resources, Finance & Legal Services Organisational Effectiveness, Data Science & Innovation Climate Change, Disaster Risk Management & Environmental Planning ICT, Information Systems & Knowledge Management Urban Management, Housing, and Informal Settlements Sustainable Energy, Electricity Distribution & Infrastructure Development Social Development, Early Childhood & Community Programmes Libraries, Parks, Recreation & Public Spaces Customer Service, Communications & Executive Support Performance Management, Monitoring & Evaluation Public Health, Safety Services & Emergency Planning Transport, Roads, Planning & Municipal Utilities Policy, Strategy & Governance Fellows will contribute to monthly and quarterly projects, develop reports, coordinate stakeholder engagements, support systems design, and more. Candidate Profile

We are looking for passionate individuals who: Are living with a disability (required) Have an interest in public administration, development, law, urban planning, ICT, social sciences, or related fields Can work independently and in collaborative environments Are committed to learning and contributing to meaningful transformation Have excellent communication, analytical, or coordination skills Are South African residents (preferred but not mandatory) No prior work experience required.
