The

SayPro Strategic Partnerships Memberships Fellow

will serve in a dynamic and multifaceted capacity, supporting the

Accreditation Bodies Strategic Partnerships Office . The Fellow will help drive SayPro’s

Memberships Programme

across dozens of public, private, academic, and civil society sectors—spanning local governance, infrastructure, urban planning, environmental management, ICT, social services, and more. This is a high-impact leadership development fellowship focused on

partnership building ,

policy advocacy ,

knowledge transfer , and

organisational performance support . Key Responsibilities

Support strategic coordination of

monthly and quarterly membership engagements Collaborate with multiple SayPro departments including:

Communications, Customer Relations, Legal, Policy, Human Resources, and ICT Urban Management, Environmental Services, Emergency & Health Services, and Energy Performance Management, Data Science, Innovation, and Infrastructure Development

Contribute to the implementation and review of:

Stakeholder communications and executive support Capacity-building workshops, public programmes, and performance frameworks

Conduct sector-specific research, write discussion papers, and facilitate dialogue Assist in developing strategies that

foster collaboration between accreditation bodies and SayPro’s extensive network of members Promote initiatives in areas such as

climate change ,

sustainable energy ,

human settlements ,

recreation and parks ,

transportation , and

community development Ideal Profile

We’re looking for ambitious changemakers and professionals who are passionate about systems improvement and collaborative development. Minimum Requirements: Completed degree or equivalent in: Public Policy, Law, Development Studies, Communications, Urban Planning, HR, Environmental Science, IT, or a related field Minimum 1–2 years of experience in research, governance, or partnership roles Demonstrated leadership in community, academic, or professional environments Strong written and verbal communication skills Commitment to knowledge sharing, public sector improvement, and impact Desirable Attributes: Knowledge of municipal operations or accreditation frameworks Experience in donor-funded projects, advocacy work, or public-private collaboration Familiarity with strategic planning, M&E, or systems thinking approaches Passion for interdisciplinary work across sectors like education, housing, energy, and sustainability
