As they build on this momentum, they're looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer - a key hire to support their continued success and innovation. Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for: Develop and improve how we build and assemble our products Troubleshoot production issues and help resolve them quickly Work closely with quality to investigate and prevent issues Use data to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize performance Design and support tools, fixtures, and equipment for production Collaborate with engineering on new product designs Review drawings and give input on manufacturability Help implement product changes and track updates Design safe and effective processes for operators Support inspection, testing, and packaging of parts and products Engage suppliers to ensure we're getting the right parts, at the right quality MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have what follows: Familiarity with key manufacturing and quality tools such as FMEA, Design for Manufacturability (DfM), Statistical Process Control, and techniques for reducing variation Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen initiatives Proficiency in SolidWorks or ProE for 3D modeling and technical drawings Comfort using standard mechanical inspection tools like calipers, force gauges, and other hand tools Exposure to machining and/or precision mechanical assembly Working knowledge of CMM inspection equipment Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standards and regulatory requirements such as RoHS and REACH Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field What's on Offer
