You will be the Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, ensuring the highest level of quality for our customers. What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. You will work closely with design and production teams to guarantee that our customers receive the best possible products. Your responsibilities will include: Reviewing documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes Analyzing and resolving process issues Leading program corrective action meetings and participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards Performing assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues Utilizing lean initiatives to drive continuous improvement Why Join Us

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Desired skills: Working knowledge of SAP. Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEAs, and Root Cause and Corrective Action processes. Experience in Six-Sigma green belt techniques and statistical process control methods. Discrete and/or Micro-electronics experience. J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 familiarization. ASQ CQE. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
