Senior Cook
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full time senior cook position. Location: WakeMed Cary - 1900 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary, North Carolina 27518. Schedule: Full time; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview. Requirements: Prior culinary experience is required. Pay range: $20.00 per hour to $22.00 per hour. Job Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local and company standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential duties and responsibilities include overseeing the cooking activities of food service associates, preparing various entrees and menu items following established recipes, operating and cleaning equipment after each use, storing, labeling and dating food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply, complying with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures, assisting Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned, assisting in the cross training of employees, and performing other duties as assigned.
