Mortgage Servicing Associate
Position Purpose:
Support the Bank, Mortgage Department, and the Mortgage Servicing Team Lead in handling all mortgage servicing details.
Qualities of a successful candidate include: Must have above average oral and written communications skills Logical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to organize work is a must General PC knowledge to include MS Word, Excel and the Internet is required Must be trustworthy and maintain a high level of confidentiality Must be able to multi-task and work under stress and pressure Communicates effectively, gets along with co-workers, and deals with colleagues effectively and professionally
Responsibilities of this position include (but not limited to): Be the primary resource for questions and assistance Handle customer inquiries on existing loan Process homeowner's insurance, mortgage insurance, taxes and HUD Set up and close out escrow accounts Process check requests and print checks Process loan payoffs and satisfactions Document imaging and indexing into the PCB imaging software Process customer payments Forward payment to investors Manages various workflow pipelines Process deposit and mortgage verifications Provide clarification on processes and procedures in Mortgage Servicing with research and due diligence

Compensation for positions is based on the specific position and may be paid in the form of an hourly wage, overtime, a semi-monthly salary, commissions, or a combination of them.
