Postdoctoral Fellow In Genetic Epidemiology

GAPsLab at the Institute of Genomic Health and the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is a new multi-disciplinary research group focused on studying the role of mental health on aging and age-related conditions led by Dr. Gita Pathak. We are seeking

two motivated Postdoctoral Fellows

to join our research team focused on investigating the multi-modal factors contributing to Alzheimer's disease (AD), and psychiatric conditions, including alcohol use disorder, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. This position will involve working on projects using multi-omic data (e.g., genetic, transcriptomics, and epigenomics) in population-based and AD-research cohorts to identify potential disease mechanisms, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical genetics, genetic epidemiology, or computational biology, with a focus on neurodegenerative and/or psychiatric disorders.
