Wire Harness Assembler
This occupation requires the preparation, making up and assembly of component parts into electrical and radio assemblies and subassemblies and the installation into main panels; includes the mechanical and functional check previous to the installation of the panels in an airplane. This occupation requires the preparation, set up and operation of various sizes of wire braiding machine for braiding electrical wiring harnesses with non-metallic outer jackets. Individual will also be accountable to work within the planned labor standards and schedule requirements. This occupation requires the planning, layout, fabrication and assembly of original, prototype, and developmental electrical and radio panel and wiring assemblies prior to standardization for production. - Familiar with proper Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESD) handling processes & procedures. - Electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, circuit breakers. - Routes, wires, assembles, and install electrical and electronic components. - Splicing, insulation, tying and installing of plugs and connecting devices. Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Employee will work on-site full-time. First Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week.
