You will be the Proposal Quality Engineer Staff for Lockheed Martin in Grand Prairie, TX, managing the implementation and execution of program quality requirements for proposals and development programs. What You Will Be Doing Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including program management, contracts, engineering, and manufacturing Supporting program proposals for the Precision Fires LOB, including Guided, Missile, Launcher, and Advanced Programs Assisting in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments Participating in independent reviews, including Readiness Acceptance Check (RAC), customer proposal reviews, and audits Partnering with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure quality requirements are met Supporting all aspects of quality development programs, including production and support Why Join Us We're looking for a skilled and collaborative Proposal Quality Engineer Staff to join our team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. Desired Skills STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above preferred Experience with customer audits and negotiations Experience in writing technical and cost volumes Understanding of TINA Compliance and TINA SWEEP Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001), AS9145 Demonstrate understanding of audit techniques and systems for their efficiencies Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and documentation is compliant with requirements Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience, as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional, and procedures for inspection An understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP and Procure-to-pay (P2P) business systems Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements Other Important Information By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $114,700 - $198,720.
