The Opportunity
The Manager, Reporting and Consolidations role is a key position to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, assist in researching technical accounting guidance and to improve processes supporting global financial consolidations and reporting.
Responsibilities: Prepare and consolidate monthly and quarterly financial statements to ensure their accurate and timely delivery Prepare monthly consolidation entries, intercompany elimination entries, account reconciliations and account analyses Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close for areas of functional responsibility and related reporting Support month-end close with GL accounting responsibilities as assigned Own GAAP technical accounting research and technical writing as well as offer guidance Manage offshore BPC support to ensure financial statements are accurate, to include troubleshooting errors Key stakeholder in migration of consolidated reporting away from BPC to new software Perform final review of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement account balance flux analysis to ensure accuracy of balances for financial reporting, which will ultimately get reported to the Board of Directors Own audit financials draft and all supporting footnotes/schedules Manage the accounting for all debt and equity type transactions Research accounting rules as needed and collaborate with other team members on procedure documentation and updates Implement process changes and best practices for financial reporting and consolidations Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members in delivering high quality, decision-ready information to our business partners wherever needed Perform special purpose or ad hoc analyses as required
Qualifications: A minimum of 6+ years relevant professional experience is required (mix of private and public experience preferred) CPA is preferred Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field is required Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting Previous experience in the consolidation, preparation and review of financial statements is a plus Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Strong organizational and project management skills High degree of dedication to improvement and strong sense of accountability Initiative to implement changes and curiosity to enhance knowledge and skills Team player with the ability to work independently and willingness to take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with management, peers, cross-functional teams and business partners Extensive knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Excel SAP experience is preferred or experience with other global financial systems Hands on experience with SAP ECC and SAP BPC 10.x & EPM is a plus Demonstration of diligence and self-motivation with strong attention to detail skills.
Salary Range: $83,200 - $135,000
The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, to geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Rodan + Fields' total compensation package for employees.
