Nights The community you’ll be caring for: We have a higher standard of hospital care in Lenexa, Kansas. When you visit us at AdventHealth Prairie Star, we'll meet your health challenges with compassion, leading-edge technology, and a comprehensive care plan that not only helps heal your body but ministers to your mind and spirit too. The role you’ll contribute: The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs laboratory analysis requiring a complex network of steps & variables. Confirms & verifies, correlates & interprets test results utilizing in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, instruments, & physiology. Recognizes technical, instrumental & physiological problems, identifies the cause & evaluates alternative solutions. Operates, maintains, & repairs equipment. Establishes & monitors quality assurance program. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree No Previous Experience Required Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP) certification or equivalent or advanced degree and able to meet CLIA’s 88 standards for high complexity testing Certification or equivalent required upon 90-day evaluation date.
