Lechner Services is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include performing regular inspections of industrial laundry equipment and machinery; carrying our preventative maintenance and other building maintenance as assigned. Maintenance of industrial laundry equipment may include: conveyer belts, boiler, washers, dryers, mat rolling machines, sort system, and steam tunnel.

Duties, Essential Functions, and Competencies
Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals. Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery. Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed. Operating a variety of hand and power tools. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Complying with health and safety regulations. Performing general maintenance work on buildings as assigned.
Requirements
Experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar role. Trade or vocational school graduation preferred. Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools. Welding experience preferred, not required. Mechanical aptitude and ability. Physical dexterity. Good troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Physical Demands
The ability to walk, stand, sit, talk, and listen repeatedly throughout the day. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Repeatedly bend, squat, kneel throughout the work day
