Senior Engineer - System Integrator

A Texas-based managed IT services provider headquartered in Arlington is seeking a Senior Engineer with a generalist background to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday), with the potential to move to a hybrid schedule after a successful probation period. This position is perfect for a seasoned professional with deep server-side experience and strong network design expertise. The role involves a 50/50 split between systems and network responsibilities, including architecture, implementation, administration, and troubleshooting across a range of modern technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support infrastructure solutions across both server and network environment Lead architecture and deployment of systems involving VMware, Hyper-V, Azure AD, Active Directory, and Windows Server technologies Manage and optimize networking infrastructure including routing, switching, wireless, and firewalls Work with products from Cisco, Fortinet, and SonicWall (other vendor experience also considered) Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable IT solutions Skills/Must have: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure within an MSP or similar environment Strong server-side skills: VMware, Hyper-V, Azure AD, Active Directory, Windows Servers, and O365 Solid network design and support background: routing & switching, wireless, and firewalls Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and Microsoft 365 Ability to take projects from design through to completion with minimal oversight Benefits: PTO Healthcare Salary: 90K-130K
