Assists project manager to ensure proper timelines and all requirements are met for all projects. Helps with billing, change orders, collections, etc., to ensure timely completion. Keeps management staff updated on project issues.
Reviews job cost, status, manpower, and change order reports; provides monthly analysis with project team. Attends regular reviews to reflect project profitability and issues.
Communicates and troubleshoots with project managers, superintendents, construction managers, and general contractors. Communicates effectively through meetings, memos, and emails.
Coordinates manpower and equipment for each job.
Conducts weekly site visits and meetings.
Assists with job setup and contract review, ensuring estimates and schedules are accurate and timely.
Generates project reports and attends management meetings as needed.
Tracks submittals, generates purchase orders, and negotiates subcontracts and purchases.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 1-year mechanical experience and/or related education.
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of plumbing and piping installation.
Good math and computer skills.
Detail-oriented and well-organized.
Basic accounting knowledge.
Excellent communication skills.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk job sites.
Special Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License.
Own basic hand tools.
