About The Position
Aequor is hiring a full-time Speech-language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year. The responsibilities include:
Prevention:
Involvement in school initiatives to prevent academic failure, such as Response to Intervention (RTI), using evidence-based practices. Assessment:
Conducting assessments to identify communication disorders and inform instruction, in collaboration with others, based on evidence-based practice. Intervention:
Providing age-appropriate, evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs, using diverse service delivery models. Program Design:
Configuring schoolwide programs with a continuum of service models in the least restrictive environment and providing services to other students as appropriate. Data Collection and Analysis:
Gathering and interpreting data to evaluate student outcomes and overall program effectiveness. Compliance:
Meeting federal, state, and local mandates, including IEP development, Medicaid billing, report writing, and therapy log development. Job Details Type: Full-time, Contract Benefits include dental, health, and vision insurance, paid time off, professional development, referral program, and relocation assistance.
