This position requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The individual in this position will:
Be responsible for providing technical solutioning on complex eligibility application and its architecture. Works closely with the project lead and management to understand and prioritize project tasks. Solves complex technical problems. Understands business objectives and problems. Understand the requirements, analyze the system impact, develop process documents and flowcharts, design, code, unit/integration test and deploy using mainframe tools and technologies. Collaborate with analysts, QA, and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Conduct code reviews and participate in unit and smoke testing. Create and maintain technical documentation, database models, and system architecture diagrams. Provide post-production support and resolve system issues in a timely manner. Ensure adherence to development standards, performance optimization, and security best practices. Selected candidate must provide copies of any/all certifications as part of the hiring process.

Thorough understanding of Cobol mainframe development practices (10 + years) In depth understanding of Structured Query Language (10+ years) Strong customer service and relationship management experience
Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required. Seniority level
