HR Business Partner

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals. Advise and influence management on people-related strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development. Support business transformation and change management initiatives. Talent Management & Development:
Support talent acquisition by working with recruiters and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and select top talent. Facilitate onboarding and integration plans for new hires. Partner with L&D to identify skills gaps and deliver training programs to support career development and performance improvement. Performance & Employee Relations:
Guide managers through performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, mid-year and annual reviews. Address complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough and objective investigations when needed. Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes in line with company policies and employment law. Compensation & Benefits:
Support compensation review and benchmarking processes. Provide input on pay structure, promotion, and reward recommendations. Promote understanding and usage of employee benefits programs. HR Operations & Compliance:
Ensure HR practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and support audits when needed. Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Engagement & Culture:
Champion employee engagement efforts including surveys, action planning, and culture-building initiatives. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the business unit. Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for both employees and management. Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in an HRBP or generalist role in the construction or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and practices. Hands-on experience in handling site deployment, worker relations, and foreign worker management. Proven ability to develop strong working relationships across all levels of the business. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience working in a fast-paced, matrix or multinational environment is a plus. Mandarin and/or other Asian language abilities are a plus for communicating with workers. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Whyze). 6 days work week
