Security Systems Engineer

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join their team! Join a dynamic IT team as a Security Systems Engineer responsible for safeguarding a diverse technology ecosystem. This opportunity arises from the need to backfill a sys admin position, now upgraded to engineer level, focusing on system design and cybersecurity maturity. Collaborate with a passionate team in a hybrid work environment, with occasional on-site team engagements. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Design and deploy complex security systems and procedures Enhance system configurations and remediate vulnerabilities Act as an escalation point for technical incidents Evaluate and update security policies and firewall rules Ensure system compliance with security benchmarks Document IT infrastructure and supported systems Required Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years in administration or engineer roles Expertise in firewalls, encryption, and endpoint protection Strong knowledge of security best practices and frameworks Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with data protection and DR technologies Knowledge of virtualization and HCI technologies 3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary and Long-term disability insurance Paid time off, 401k, and holiday pay Weekly direct deposit or pay card deposit Other Information: Great culture with perks like a small athletic room and meditation room Hybrid schedule with flexible work-from-home options If you are interested in learning more about the Security Systems Engineer opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
