Overview The Desktop Systems Specialist II will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for desktop systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability across the organization. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, managing system configurations, and supporting end-user environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows and Mac OS, strong troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security in Active Directory Perform workstation imaging and software deployment using tools like SCCM or Intune Maintain documentation for system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and support workflows Monitor and apply system updates, patches, and antivirus protection Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and system upgrades Ensure compliance with IT policies, including data security and retention standards Train and support end-users on system usage and best practices Minimum Skills & Qualifications: 35 years of experience in desktop support or systems administration Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and Mac OS environments Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, Intune) Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, MCSA, or ITIL are a plus Preferred Attributes: Experience supporting executive-level users Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Bash) Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) Understanding of VPNs, firewalls, and basic networking concepts Keys to Success Foster innovation At IGT, we believe compensation should reflect
you your unique background, skills, experience, and even where you work. Thats why our starting compensation range is $50,482 to $115,000, with room to go higher or lower depending on the full picture. We also follow all local pay laws and collective bargaining agreements, so everythings above board. But waittheres more!
