NYC, Boston, Chicago, Jersey City, Pennington, Addison, Plano, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, Richmond, Kennesaw, CLT, Newark, Jacksonville, Chandler (Hybrid - 3 days in office/week)
Pay Range:
$77/hr
What's the Job?
Develop and maintain middleware solutions using Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, and other related technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware services. Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for middleware applications in a large enterprise environment. Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and resolve issues as they arise. Document processes and create technical specifications to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
What's Needed?
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE Middleware Engineering. Proficiency with middleware products such as Apache Tomcat and WebSphere Application Server. Experience with Linux operating systems and container frameworks. Familiarity with scripting languages like shell, Python, or Perl. Understanding of network infrastructure including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and load balancers.
