We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist Advisor to support daily operations and maintenance of network security infrastructure, including firewalls, Prisma SASE, routing and switching, and AWS cloud networking.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with network security products from vendors such as Palo Alto, AWS, and Cisco, and will be responsible for troubleshooting, documentation, and operational support across multiple customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Requests, Changes, Incidents, and Problem records to support customer network security environments.
Implement network security solutions and provide operational support in customer environments.
Provide technical support for Palo Alto, Prisma SASE, F5, AWS networking, and routing & switching.
Act as an escalation point for L2 support engineers and provide on-call support for high-severity incidents in a 24x7 environment.
Detect security issues, create and manage customer tickets, and ensure timely resolution.
Perform system maintenance, health checks, and maintain accurate documentation.
Conduct rule set reviews to enhance security posture.
Support configuration backups/restores, monitoring, and reporting using internal tools.
Participate in weekly/monthly health status checks across supported platforms.
Collaborate with multiple customer environments to perform upgrades, patches, and general operational support.
Propose service, process, and technical improvements to management.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in network security administration. Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma SASE, AWS networking, and Cisco network gear. Familiarity with routing and switching technologies and cloud networking. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues with minimal input. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal communication and technical troubleshooting abilities.
