Description Summary The IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA) serves as a key partner between Information Technology and Columbia Distributing's business teams, with primary focus on Sales and Pricing. This role is responsible for understanding business needs, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the selection, procurement, enhancement, and implementation of business solutions. The BSA leverages strong analytical, communication, and training skills to support, educate, and advise end users and stakeholders. In addition, the BSA provides comprehensive application support by assisting users with troubleshooting, resolving system issues, coordinating software updates, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of business applications. As a central point of contact for projects, systems, and application support within their area of responsibility, the BSA works closely with business groups, project teams, and external vendors. This role offers the opportunity to make a broad organizational impact as an individual contributor, without direct supervisory responsibilities.

*This position can be based in Kent, WA or Wilsonville, OR. Primary Responsibilities Gather and define project requirements by engaging with business stakeholders through interviews, workshops and research. Develop comprehensive Functional and Technical Business Requirement Documents, process diagrams, business cases and other artifacts. Analyzing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps; provide actionable recommendations for improvements utilizing both existing and emerging technologies. Provide support for enterprise applications and serve as a technical point-of-contact. Proficient in Columbia Distributing's business processes and applications within an area of expertise (e.g., Financials, Operations, Sales). Test applications and coordinate the resolution of any issues. Maintaining awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current system functionality. Maintain, socialize, and drive the software and process roadmap for assigned area of responsibility. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 business support. Collaborate regularly with super-users.

Work Environment This job operates mostly indoors in an office setting. Speaking -- Frequent, in person and on the telephone Visual Abilities -- Continuous clarity of vision of 24 inches or less Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried position and will require a flexible work schedule, which may include evening and weekends to successfully manage and deliver the accountabilities of the role. Occasional on-call responsibilities.

Travel Occasional travel is required with this position. Travel can and will be conducted between Kent and Wilsonville locations as needed. Additional travel may be required to any warehouse location during project implementations or as needed

Required Education and Experience Minimum 3 years: Experience working as a business analyst, similar role or alternatively relevant Columbia distributing experience as a super-user in targeted area of responsibility. Lean, six sigma, and/or project management experience preferred. Experience with sales applications (CRM, Salesforce, Hubspot or similar systems) preferred. Pricing system experience desired. Experience with ERP software (VIP, SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar etc.) preferred. Preferred Education and Experience Lean, Six Sigma, or other project management experience Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
